After the successful testing phase that took place in recent weeks, the rail link between the docks of the Vecon-PSA Venice Terminal in Marghera and the intermodal terminal of Montirone near Brescia - one of the main nodes along which the MIS Group has developed the services it offers as MTO (Multimodal Transport Operator) – is now fully operational. The train is made up of 23 sixty-foot wagons with a loading capacity of 46 containers.

The 2024 edition of the Port Days of Venice and Chioggia is set for smooth sailing, with 30 partners involved in 15 initiatives over 3 days FFrom 4 to 6 October, the entire port community will be involved in a series of cultural, educational, sports and recreational events distributed between Venice, Marghera and Chioggia.
The operation involves more than 10 hectares alongside the North Canal at Porto Marghera, that will host the new cruise passenger terminal and two berths for ships up to 300 metres NBI s.p.a.- Webuild group has been awarded an 18.5 million euro contract for cold ironing, final design and environmental impact assessment for the new terminal and its berths.
Venice, 24 May 2024 - The ports of Venice and Chioggia will take part in the 2024 Venice Boat Show to engage the general public, leisure boat enthusiasts and all those interested in the Veneto's thousand years of port history.
