On Saturday 9th April, the fourth edition of the Parallelo a vela – Vela contro vela will take place at the Marina Santelena dock in Venice. This sports youth event involves athletes from the major lagoon sailing clubs and is aimed at equipping young people to advance in the sport.
It is sponsored by the North Adriatic Sea Port Authority, who values the initiative’s focus on raising awareness about the importance of our relationship with the sea. The competition combines sports with socialising and cultural awareness, to provide children and youth with a wholesome, constructive opportunity to learn about Venice’s marine and lagoon culture.
