The Directorate is composed of two areas, responsible for operational coordination and port surveillance, security, and control.
Competency of the Structure
It coordinates with entities, institutions, and port operators to ensure the execution of port activities, identifying operational methods to enhance them and increase the port’s competitiveness. Additionally, it manages equipment and the surveillance network, overseeing compliance with regulations regarding port operations, safety, and occupational hygiene. It processes requests for authorizations for port business, the provision of port services, and the conduct of related activities.
