Complementary and accessory specialist services to the port operations cycle (art.16 L.84/94)

The authorization is issued by the President of the North Adriatic Sea Port Authority following the positive opinion of the collegial bodies, i.e. the Local Advisory Commission and the Management Committee.

The Port System Authority, having verified the regularity of the documentation referred to in the articles. 2, 3 paragraph 11 and art. 4 of Ordinance 18/2018 (to be attached to the application) and assessed:

• the correspondence of the applicant’s organization to the activity he intends to carry out;
• compliance by the same with the regulations relating to safety in the workplace;
• possession of technical-organizational capacity adequate for the services offered;

issues specific authorization to companies that have submitted an application by 1 December of the year preceding the one for which the authorization is requested.

If the requests received by the deadline of December 1st exceed the predetermined maximum number, preference will be given to companies that can ensure a higher level of quality at more convenient price conditions for users.

Companies that submit an application after the aforementioned deadline may only be authorized if there are still places available for the various types of service at the time the application is received. The authorization is valid for one year (calendar year).

Upon issuing the authorization, specific credentials will be provided for access to the LogIS system – Port Work Module, in which the company is required to promptly communicate any changes relating to its corporate staff and its supply of operational means.

Through the On Line Requests (IOL) system, the company will request access permits to the port area.
