Description
The scope of the plan is the regeneration and enhancement of more than 90 hectares in the Montesyndial area, followed by the construction of a new container terminal to rationalise and increase port throughput (the terminal’s handling potential is estimated at 1 million TEUs/year). The project will enable the implementation of the ‘Programme Agreement for the reconversion and industrial regeneration of the Porto Marghera complex industrial crisis area’.
Costs
The estimated cost of the work is approximately 430 million Euros, to be financed by resorting to just over 280 million Euros that have already been allocated (including 35 million Euros allocated through the National Reconstruction and Resilience Plan/Complementary Fund), and through the Fund for non-deferrable works.
