Growth recorded in veneto ports in 2024: +3.5% tonnes in Venice, +8.8% in Chioggia

A particularly lively last quarter enabled the port of Venice to end the year with a 3.5% increase in the number of tonnes handled, compared to the previous year (from 23,271,129 to 24,104,354). The port of Chioggia also did well, with 813,415 tonnes, namely an 8.8% increase in the volume of goods handled, mainly driven by general cargo (+42.7%) and in particular by the steel industry.
