On Saturday, April 5, Venice will host the ninth edition of the CMP Venice Night Trail, the now well-known 16-kilometer night urban trail that crosses 51 bridges, starting at 9 PM from Terminal 123, in the Marittima port area, which will be transformed for the occasion into the CMP Village, the nerve center of the entire event. This sporting event once again enjoys the support of the Port System Authority of the Northern Adriatic Sea, which coordinates the team of operators and port institutions active in the areas involved in the event to ensure its success and safety. A total of 5,000 runners from the local area, as well as from Italy and abroad, will traverse iconic places in Venice, including the Arsenal and St. Mark’s Square, as well as lesser-known spots such as the renewed waterfront of Santa Marta and San Basilio, offering a unique experience in this junction between city and port. The Port Authority promotes this initiative as an opportunity to experience the interaction between the city and the port, integrating port activities with urban life. Additionally, for the first time, Faro De Faris, the cheerful mascot of the AdSP, will be present to enliven the sports village and accompany the runners to the finish line, bringing a universal message: the port is a fun and positive world that contributes to the development of the area.
