On Saturday 8 June, AdSPMAS and the Venetian team of the Horizon Europe Bauhaus of the Seas Sails project will take part in a public meeting to mark the official kick-off of project activities. The round table is organised by Ca‘ Foscari University of Venice – lead partner of the Venetian team -, and will be attended by Professors Fabio Pittarello, Fabio Pranovi and Massimo Warglien for Ca’ Foscari University, Prof Francesco Musco for IUAV, and Councillor Paola Mar for the Venice City Council. The initiative is part of the celebrations for World Ocean Day 2024. Bauhaus of the Seas Sails is one of the six projects chosen by the European Commission in the framework of the New European Bauhaus and aims to develop solutions to contemporary challenges in the areas of sustainability, social inclusion and aesthetics. Project activities will focus on seven pilot studies addressing different water systems.
