Yesterday was the last day of the PORT DAYS 2021 event promoted by AdSP MAS in collaboration with the Coast Guard, Venezia Port Community and The International Propeller Club Port of Venice.
Over 1000 people attended the event, which included meetings, boat tours along the quays, visits to the waterfront ARTERMINAL in Venice’s Historic Centre and guided tours of the fully renovated Venice Heritage Tower (VHT), a former industrial cooling tower located in Marghera, at the entrance of the Commercial Port.
Coming from all over the Veneto region and beyond, the varied audience was made up of university and school students, families, citizens and entrepreneurs: they all showed interest and enthusiasm for what many of them called "the great beauty" of the Veneto port system seen from the top floor of VHT, 60m above the ground.
Meeting the many requests for a new edition next year, the Port Authority is already working on even richer programme for 2022.
